Zea-later™

The Zea-later oil applicator is used to apply a small (0.5ml) of oil mixed with a labelled pesticided, such as Bt, to the silk at the top of each corn ear.  This effectively controls damage from the corn earworm caterpillar.

New last year! Organic control for earworms on sweet corn.

The Zea-later™ can be purchased at Johnny's Selected Seeds.

For more information about the use of the Zea-later™ to control caterpillars, see articles on Organic Insect Management in Sweet Corn
